JOB DESCRIPTION -MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are a leading heat pump and fan coils manufacturer located in Woodbridge. We are currently looking for Mechanical Engineer who is a self starter and able to work independently. The successful candidate must have experience working as Mechanical Engineer in HVAC industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• As a mechanical engineer, you will have a concrete impact on Climetec’ s innovation and growth.
• You will be responsible for initiating and managing various projects related to the development of different products and services while connecting Climetec abilities with customer and market demands.
• Your role will be to analyze the solutions and to study their feasibility from an engineering perspective and will be in charge of the necessary tests related to the development of new products.
• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications.
• Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders, Job quotation, supplier control and customer support
• Research and development project management, Job master schedule and project control
• Unit selection simulation
• CSA/ELT / UL safety standard
• Well aware of all the codes and standards pertaining to our industry

Education and Experience:                                 

• Must have P. Eng designation with professional engineers ontario (PEO)
• university degree
• 5 years Experience
• Must have experience making design using various CAD/CAM programs like Solid Works, Auto CAD, Fusion 360 etc.
