Duke University’s Electrical and Computer Engineering department is hiring a Professor of the Practice (teaching faculty) in the areas of Computer Hardware, VLSI design, Hardware testing/validation, Software, Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence / Machine learning (AI/ML), and/or Human-Computer Interaction.

The position is open to traditionally academic candidates as well as candidates interested in pivoting from industry into teaching.

The role is a non-tenure-track regular rank position with a focus on teaching, with a course load of 2 fall + 2 spring. It requires a PhD in a related field and a strong focus on the university’s teaching mission. We’re accepting applications til late June.
